About BSc Medical Radiological Technology

BSc Medical Radiological Technology or Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiological Technology is an undergraduate Radiography course. The curriculum of a BSc in Radiology or BSc in Radiography course has been designed to teach students the different methods of radiographic imaging such as CT scans, MRI, etc to produce results. There are several specialisations under radiology that one can pursue after graduating from a BSc degree in India. BSc Medical Radiological Technology course is concerned with the direct administration of radiation, primarily x-rays, in disease diagnosis and injury assessment.

The modern practice of radiology involves several different healthcare professions working as a team. The radiologist is a medical doctor who has completed the appropriate post-graduate training and interprets medical images, communicates these findings to other physicians by means of a report or verbally, and uses imaging to perform minimally invasive medical procedures..

BSc Medical Radiological Course Duration: Three and a half years (Inclusive of six-month mandatory internship)

Eligibility for BSc Medical Radiological:

  • Students who have passed their 10+2 qualifying exam from Science stream.
  • The candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
